An Evening Aglow – Southwest Virginia Museum
For two nights only, join park staff and volunteers for “An Evening Aglow.” These special night viewings of the 29th Annual Festival of Trees will be held on November 23 and December 21 from 5-8 p.m. Visitors will be offered an opportunity to view the museum in a different light. With overhead lights turned off, glowing luminaries and flickering candles guide the way through more than 80 beautifully decorated trees and displays. It’s a unique way to enjoy one of the longest-running holiday traditions in the area.
Regular admission rates apply: adults $5, children 6-12 $3, under 6 free. Group rates are available for parties of 10 or more.
* Please keep in mind that the displays cover all three floors as well as the basement. If for any reason attendees need assistance getting to the basement or the first floor there are accessibility lifts in place; however, the second and third floors are only accessible via stairs.
