Big Stone Gap, VA. The Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum will host their Annual Yard Sale fundraising event on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Yard Sale will offer a variety of items for purchase, and all proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park.

Donations are needed for the sale, and the Friends will accept items in good condition, except clothing and shoes. Members of the public may drop off items at the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park office building (the brick building on Shawnee Ave., across the street from the Museum) on Monday-Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday, Aug. 12 through Friday, Aug. 30.

The Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.
