Maurice is an amazing wood carver although he will be quick to tell you he is just a humble whittler. Maurice is famous for his gnomes, Christmas decorations, and nativity scenes.
Maurice is very active in his community and represents his craft at almost all events and festivals. He is proud of his region, it’s heritage, and it’s future.
Maurice is a founding member of Mountain Artisans Guild of Big Stone Gap.
