Phyllis Guster - The Twisted Cat

I’m not originally from this area. I am a transplant from the east coast of Virginia. 

After retiring, my husband and I decided to make the mountains of Norton and Big Stone Gap our home. 

I do many different crafts that cover my interests and passions in art, especially resin art and crochet. My sister in law taught me to crochet at a very young age and I have been crocheting ever since. I’ve been doing resin work for 5-6 years and love to express creativity through this medium. 

My latest art is abstract bloom art, which is a technique that involves using different paint mixtures to create cells and lacing of colors through blooming.

 My crafts include:

Resin Art, resin coasters, key chains and wall plaques.
