We are Midnight Rider band from Harlan County Kentucky. We have been playing music for 35 years . Some of our favorite places to play are Harlan Poke Salad Festivals,Daniel Boone Festival in Barbourville, and World Chicken Festival in London KY. We are scheduled to play the festivals mentioned above but adding new spots for 2023 like Hill Climb Festival in Pineville KY, Mountain Fall Festival in Middlesboro KY and our newest Renfro Valley Entertainment in Mt Vernon KY. Look for us in Big Stone Gap VA very soon!
When we can, we donate our time for good causes such has Harlan County Humane Society and Relay for Life.
Midnight Rider has opened shows for some of the biggest names in rock and country bands (Hinder from California and Diamond Rio from Nashville TN). Our drummer, Darnell Middleton, has toured with Kevin Cyrus (older brother to Billy Ray Cyrus). Our lead guitar is Joe Asher who is an outstanding guitar player. Our bass player is Ross Bailey who has played more than 50 years with artist and bands such as Big Daddy , The Heat and Thunder Ridge. On keyboard we have Shyla Raleigh. She is an accomplished singer and fantastic keyboard player. On lead and rhythm guitar we have Brandon Collins. Brandon is an experienced guitar player who also plays in other bands such has 2nd Shift, and DTK KISS tribute band.
