Curklin’s Information

Voted one of the Top 3 Bars and Steaks in all of Wise County.

Voted BEST OF THE BEST #1 Bartender in all of Wise County!

Located in the Historic Mutual Pharmacy building in Big Stone Gap, VA, Curklin’s is proudly owned by Wayne and Tracey Jordan. Wayne has worked with restaurants and grocery stores since childhood, when his father worked in the meat business. Now, with 23 years of restaurant management experience under his belt, Wayne is finally able to fulfill his dream of opening his own restaurant. The unique spelling of the name Curklin’s comes from Wayne’s own middle name which has been passed down in his family for six generations. At Curklin’s, Wayne and Tracey have created a family-friendly atmosphere with a modern industrial decorating style and a full bar with your choice of craft beers. With a broad menu serving a wide variety of classics and favorites, Wayne and Tracey hope to fill a gap in the community providing casual sit-down dining with your family as well as a place to relax, enjoy a few drinks, and watch the game.

Now featuring The Cellar at Curklin’s. A huge banquet hall with the “bar below”, 3 big screen tv’s and fantastic atmosphere. Perfect for birthday parties, charity events, work gatherings, retirements, wedding receptions, or live music. You must come check out this amazing event venue.
