Mississippi East Information

Mississippi East is a 5 piece band who comes from the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the Southwestern tip of Virginia. They hail from an area steeped in musical heritage which shines through each time they perform. They cover a slice of the Alt-Country Music pie that lands them home in between artists like Cody Jinks and Whiskey Myers. With a splash of true South based swampy Rock mixed with Country and Americana you’re sure to hear something you enjoy at their energetic live shows. 2021 was their first full year together, in the first few months of their freshman year they have secured shows at Blake Sheltons Ole Red Gatlinburg TN., Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Bristol VA., Austin City Saloon Corbin KY. , Bubba Brew’s Norris Lake, VA/KY District Fair Opening for Folk Soul Revival, among many other venues, you can find them in small bars and pubs, festivals, even private parties. In 2021 the band released their first two singles, 2022 brought another release and the beginning of their first album, The band picked up a fifth member on Keyboard in January of ‘23 and have sights set for releasing an album in late spring 2023.
