I moved to Big Stone Gap in the fall of 2009 and loved it immediately. I grew up in a small, but very busy, town in Northern Virginia and needed a change of pace. I received a sewing machine as a birthday gift in 2010 and began to experiment with it. A few years later, Crafty Creations was born. I have been participating in craft shows and the farmers market. I later became a member of the Mountain Artisans of Big Stone Gap and have loved the community it fosters. I have enjoyed every aspect of this journey, even the hard parts.
