Please join us for lots of LOCAL ARTS and CRAFTS and for LIVE MUSIC as The Hillbilly Hippies perform at 11am and the Timeless String Band preform at 1pm.

Online Ticket Sales will close at 12pm on the 11th of May to ensure tickets are entered into the physical drawing (link below). The drawing will take place at 5pm at the Big Stone Gap Visitor Center during the May Market Event.

This fundraiser has been an incredible community effort; started by Jim Terrell of the Timeless String Band who donated his beautiful Mandolin in hopes of raising enough money to send a few kids to Mountain Music School to honor Chris’s memory it has become a collaborative effort with The Gap Partnership Foundation promoting and coordinating, The Big Stone Gap Visitor Center hosting “The Mandolin” and selling tickets during the week, Big Cherry Brewing, Country Kitchen, Curklin’s, Good Times Coal Fired Pizza and Pub, Moon Dogs Brick Oven Pizza, 404 Cafe and Creamery and Three Forks Sandwich Co all opening their business to promote and sell tickets for the fundraiser. AND the music community has just rallied around support for Mountain Music School and the love of Chris Rose by inviting “The Mandolin” out on tour at their shows in Big Stone Gap.
