Dear Friends:

We have an exciting golf tournament planned!  The My Town – MECC Golf Classic is scheduled for Friday, May 31, at beautiful Lonesome Pine Country Club.

Proceeds from the tournament will help provide needed scholarships for Mountain Empire Community College students. We hope that you will get a team together or be a sponsor. Levels of sponsorship are available on the form attached.

There will be fabulous prizes on all par-3 holes, and #10 will feature the Hole-In-One prize, a 2024 Jeep Renegade, sponsored by My Town Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. Even if golfers do not make a hole-in-one, they could still be big winners! There is a $1,000 prize for coming within 12 inches of the pin on Hole #10! Also, again this year, we have a drawing for a $500 cash prize to be given away at the end of the festivities. Every player is entered to win, but you must be present to win.

The popular auction will be back. If you can provide something for the auction, please notify Megan Gibson, Tournament Coordinator, at 276-523-2400, extension 649078, or e-mail her at mgibson@mecc.edu. Gift certificates may be mailed to MECC Foundation at the above address. Someone from the MECC Foundation office or the golf tournament committee will be glad to pick up larger items.

To register your team, sponsor a hole, or be a tournament sponsor, simply complete and return the attached entry form. Please let us know as soon as possible that you will participate. Thank you for thoughtfully considering this request. We hope to hear from you soon.
